Product Description
There are three kinds prisms offered. They are commonly used to tune the output of the laser. Separate nearly spectral lines or select a single wavelength form amulti-spectral source. Jiheng Optics use UV.F.S. To manufacture the prisms.
--Brewster and Littrow prisms are designed for minimum deviation at the Brewsterangle. So minimizing losses in the transmitted p-polarized component.
--Littrow version is a retro-reflecting. Brewster prism and is often used in laser cavities.
--Pellin Broca prism is a constant deviation (90°)dispersing prism and is useful for single wavelength selection
Deviating prisms
There are three kinds prisms offered. They are used to cause a deflection in an incoming beam. These deviating prisms are manufactured form UV.F.S.
--Dove prisms create an image inversion in a beam input parallel to base.
--Corner cube create a constant deviation of 180°independent of input angle and are often used for alignment purposes.
--Porro prisms are cut down versions of a right angle prism and produce a uni-axial beam deviation of 180°.
Jiheng Optics also offers the other kinds of prisms.
--Right Angle Prisms
--Equilateral Prisms
--Penta Prisms
--Rhombic Prisms
Jiheng Optics will manufacture strictly under MIL-13830B quality standard. We support COD to insure your benefit.
Rhombic prisms are commonly usde a laser beam without changing its direction. They can also displace the optical axis without inverting the image. The lateral displacement is equal to the length of the prism.

Corner cube are designed to reflect any ray or beam entering the prism face, regardless of the orientation of the prism, back onto itself. They are ideal where precision alignment is difficult or time consuming. They feature three total internal reflections and will function even at very large angle of incidence. Corner cubes create a constant deviation of 180° independent of input angle and are often used for alignment purposes.

dove prisms :They are used as image rotators. Dove prisms have an unusual characteristic. Dove prisms create an image inversion in a beam input parallel to the base. The image passing through will rotate at twice the angular rate of the prism. For optimal pefomance, use dove prisms with collimated light. Image inverting and beam folding. Jiheng Optics can provide low-loss, high-energy AR and BBAR coatings available.

Right angle prisms may be used in a variety of ways for beam deviation or as substrates for beamsplitters. When a beam enters normal to one of the legs of of the prism it arrives at the hypotenuse face at an incidence greater than the critical angle.Besides, They are commonly used to tune the output of a laser, separate nearby spectral lines or select a single wavelength from a multi-spectral source.Right Angle Prisms can also be used in combination for image/beam displacement. Many different coatings may be applied to these prisms.

Penta prism the ideal optical tool for defining a right angle in an optical system and alignment systems. They are featuring a ray deviation fo 90° and a right handed image. Rays entering one face emerge from the dajacent face at precisely 90° after they have undergone two reflections inside the prism for a total 270°. They can also act as a turing mirror which is insensitive to alignment.

Pellin Broca Prisms
A simple dispersing prism always deviates the longer wavelength less than the shorter wavelength. In a Pellin Broca prism, whether the longer wavelength is deviated more or less depends on the orientation of the prism. These prisms provide a convenient way to compensate for group velocity dispersion in ultra-fast lasers or to separate harmonic wavelengths in an incoming laser beam. A Pellin Broca prism is a constant deviation(90°)dispersing prism and is useful for single wavelength selection.
