general building hoist is an elevator driven by gear and rack. It is mainly used in vertical transportation of both men and cargo outside high-rise buildings. And it can be also used in construction of large-scale buildings such as bridge and well tunnel.
There are more than 10 varieties of general building hoists which can be classified into single cage and double cages, counterweight and no counterweight, the driving device inside and outside and so on. The surface can be painted and hot dip galvanized.
