Product Description
Due to its unique chemical features, the silicone grease is suitable for most of materials including metal, rubber and plastic. So it is widely applied for these kinds of parts, like o-rings, seals, gears, etc.
But it is not as good as other greases on lubrication, like lithium grease, especially on metal surfaces. Therefore, people add PTFE particles in the silicone grease to develop its lubrication performance, or even use PTFE particles as thickener to bring better lubrication performance.
PTFE is actually a kind of plastic particle, it has great performance on high and low temperatures, and works well under heavy duty.
