Universal Weatherproofing Kits for Coaxial Cables and Antenna Ports


HarshMet HWPK-221213 Universal Weatherproofing Kit is a versatile kit used to protect coax connector junctions from moisture ingress and to prevent vibration from loosening the connection. The Universal Weatherproofing Kit accommodates connections consisting of any size coax from 1/2” to 5”, simplifying ordering, inventory management, and installation setup. The Universal Weatherproofing Kit features a combination of butyl mastic and electrical tape, which is applied using a multi-layer wrapping procedure to create a long-term environmental seal for main feed, jumper, and antenna connections. The kit consists of six 2-1/2” (20.1m) x 24” (609.6mm) rolls of butyl mastic tape, two 66’ (20.1m) rolls of 3/4” (19.1mm) wide electrical tape, and one 20’ (6.1m) roll of 2” (50.8mm) wide electrical tape.
