Topotecan Hydrochloride is the water-soluble hydrochloride salt preparation of Topotecan, a potent inhibitor of topoisomerase 1, and an apoptosis inducer, producing proapoptotic and antiproliferative effects. Topotecan is a semisynthetic derivative of the natural product alkaloid camptothecin.
