The production process of graphite carbon brushes mainly involves several steps, including material preparation, mixing, molding, sintering and post-treatment. The following is the specific production process: 12

Material preparation: First of all, raw materials such as nano-graphite powder, flake graphite powder, expanded graphite, nano-silica and copper powder need to be prepared. The preparation of expanded graphite involves stirring the nano-graphite powder in sulfuric acid with a concentration of 96%, then rinsing with water to a pH of less than 7, drying to 5-10% moisture, and finally expanding at a high temperature of 800 ¨ C.

Mixing: The prepared expanded graphite and other raw materials are fully dispersed in the ultrasonic dispersion equipment to obtain a uniform mixture.

Forming: The mixture is pressed into a fully automatic press, usually at a pressure of 260MPa, to form a pressed sheet.

Sintering: The pressed sheet is placed in a vacuum hot pressing sintering furnace for sintering. In the sintering process, the vacuum degree is 10Pa, the sintering temperature is 1000℃, the sintering pressure is 20Mpa, and the sintering time is 10min.

Post-treatment: After sintering is completed, the carbon brush material is drilled, ground, buried and polished to make the final carbon brush product.

This production process not only includes the preparation and mixing of raw materials, but also covers several key steps such as molding, sintering and post-treatment, ensuring the quality and performance of the graphite carbon brush.
