COMPANY PROFILE
Formed in 1988, ProTec International is a privately held, California based research and
development company specializing in the design of practical, cost-effective and
environmentally safe technologies for industrial, commercial and consumer applications.
ProTec also licenses synergetic technologies that complement its proprietary product
lines.
ProTec International is a member of the World Trade Center; has received numerous
awards and grants from U.S. Government Agencies and has formed alliances with
established companies in over 40 countries in Latin America, Asia, the Middle-East and
Europe to market and license its proprietary products.
ProTec products improve efficiency in such industries as fuel distribution, refineries,
power generation, fleet operations, railroad, maritime, and in general, in all types of
heavy equipment. ProTec products have applications for farm tractors and equipment,
fishing and recreational boats, ocean-going vessels, locomotives, trucks, buses, tractors,
motorcycles, automobiles and racing cars.
ProTec’s specialty chemicals business segment produces and markets performance
replacement chemicals to substitute an increasing list of products that are being banned
worldwide.
The fuel catalyst and additive business segment supplies refineries and fuel distributors.
These products are used by customers in every major industry around the world and
include government agencies and state-owned companies. ProTec markets its products in
the United States and exports to Europe, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia,
and Pacific Rim countries. Export sales to these countries accounted for 80% of fiscal
2002 revenues.
The production of innovative products developed to replace dangerous additives currently
blended to fuels, offers the potential of unprecedented growth for ProTec International
over the next few years.
