Characteristics of PP Plastic

Heat Resistance: Withstands 130®C to 170®C, higher than HDPE (120®C) and LDPE (95®C).

Flexibility: Stiffer and less flexible than PE, prone to tearing.

Solubility: Insoluble in organic solvents at room temperature; dissolves above 80®C in aromatic and chlorinated carbides.

Mechanical Strength: High tear and tensile strength, hard and strong, but susceptible to tearing with small punctures.

Non-Toxic: Burns with a light blue flame, emitting a rubber-like smell.
