Park brake valves are located in the brake lines between the master cylinders and the brakes. They are used to hold pressure in the brakes on an aircraft as a way of preventing the aircraft from moving when grounded.
The tractor parking brake controls air supply to the spring brake chambers on the rear of the unit. Turns off & on parking brakes.
Tactair Emergency Park Brake Valves provide an alternate method of providing brake pressure upon a failure of the main system and provides parking brake pressure. Typically, the Emergency Park Brake Valve is paired with a hydraulic accumulator or separate hydraulic pressure source.
