Properties: Single and skew crystal, decomposed in 168 ÿ¡C-169 ÿ¡C. It is made by fuming sulfuric acid and 4-nitrochlorobenzene through sulfonation.Small solubility in alcohol and water. It is the intermediate of dyes. Mainly used to made Variamine Blue B Salt,Fast Blue VRT Salt, and also used to compound other intermediate,such as p-nitroaniline-2-sulphonic acid.
