Night Vision Binocular BNV-3 Selena

Night vision binocular “Selena” is an optronic device, intended for visual observation of objects in dark time of the day, to orient oneself in given area, or on water surface under conditions of an ambient skylight intensity or faint artificial lightning and in total darkness with the cut-in IR-illuminator.
The binocular is intended for use under conditions of nightlight of from 5x10-3lx to 1 lx, at temperatures of from –30C to +30C and relative humidity of up to 85%, at a temperature of +25C.

The period of operation from one set (AA-type) primary cell batteries (up to decline in the range of vision) is about:
a) without IR-illuminator (switched off)
- at a temperature of over 0C – 100 hours,
- at a temperature minus 30C – 5 hours,
b) with IR-illuminator (switched on)
- - at a temperature of over 0C – 16 hours,
- at a temperature minus 30C – 2 hours,

If the temperature is minus 10C it is necessary to insert primary cell batteries into the battery compartment just before switching on the binocular.

In unfavorable conditions of observation (low transparence of atmosphere, poor illumination and so on) the range of vision reduces.

Don’t expose the binocular to sunlight, humidity, mechanical damages and dusty conditions.

The binocular will remain on for up 2-10 minutes after releasing the switch button.
