To get the maximum throttle range, and smoothest throttle response, the MayTech Speed Controllers also have built-in Automatic Throttle Calibration. To activate this feature, power up the ESC with the transmitter on and in the full throttle position. After 2 seconds, the motor will beep two times. After the beeps are heard, reduce the throttle stick to the idle position and the motor will beep again indicating that the high and low throttle points are now calibrated. These values will be stored in the ESC and will remain in memory even after the ESC is shut down.
