INGREDIENTS
The herbal mixture contains different kinds of medical herbs. It includes the following herbs: Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca), Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), Mint ( Mentha piperita), Balm (Melissa officinalis), Linden (Tilia platyphyllos), Elder (Sambucus nigra) and Common Valerian (Valeriana officinalis).
In order to protect its licence, Megamedic here states only the names of the herbs used, while the percentages and the amounts are kept as a business secret.

PHARMACOLOGY
This herbal mixture is especially effective if taken regularly for a long period of time. It is commonly known that Hawthorn and Motherwort have a direct effect on heart muscle, augment force and velocity of cardiac contractions. Yarrow, Mint and Balm dilate peripheral blood vessels discharging the heart and increasing myocardial function. Common Valerian and Balm show indirect action mediated by the autonomic nervous system, helping to calm irregular heart rhythmus. Linden, Elder and Yarrow besides its calming effects also have diuretic properties, which help the body to secrete water. Motherwort lowers platelets and prolongs blood clotting time while acting like a platelet-aggregation inhibitor.

INDICATION
â쿽¢ Congestive heart failure primarily due to the left ventricular dysfunction
â쿽¢ Heart failure due to myocardial infarction
â쿽¢ All kinds of cardiomyopathy

APPLICATION AND USE
Steep one tea beg in one cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. Take 3 times a day, with no meal restrictions.

ADVERSE EFFECTS
Not known. Be careful if systolic pressure is less than 100 mm Hg.

STORAGE
Keep it in a dry and cool place.
