Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a device used to regulate and circulate air in a building or other enclosed space. It is typically a large metal box containing a blower, heating or cooling coils, filters, dampers, and sound attenuators. The AHU is responsible for conditioning and distributing air throughout the building.
The AHU can also be equipped with humidifiers or dehumidifiers to control the humidity level of the air. In addition, some AHUs have energy recovery systems that recover heat from the exhaust air and transfer it to the incoming fresh air, which can help reduce energy costs.
