Product Description
Bolted Lugs of Copper Alloy and bronze Copper are a quick & effective way of making a connection on a normal or flexible conductor and these can be used multiple times. Palms are machined top and bottom for bolting on either surface. To install, simply insert the stripped conductor into the barrel, and tighten up the single hex nut. Barrels have internal corrugations in the clamp to assist with current transfer. These products are available in high conductivity copper alloy finish.
Tinned copper & Aluminium lugs are easier to connect as Tin is a primary component in solder. Tinned lugs are better equipped to resist humidity & corrosion, high temperatures and wet environments. Cable Lugs are provided with inspection window, thus ensuring full conductor insertion. Entrance is chamfered or bell mouthed for easy entry and high wall thickness.
