Chitosan
Chitosan, a positive ion macromolecule electrolyte, is extracted from the shell of the shellfish animals, such as shrimp and crab. We started the research and development of Chitosan since the 1980's, and in 1994 we produced high quality Chitosan and Chitin, in 1998 developed food grade Chitosan. What's more, we are the first to develop quickly dissolvable and liquid Chitosan in China. Our Quickly dissolvable Chitosan has been well received by the clients home and abroad, and liquid Chitosan is in the process of certification.
At the very beginning Chitosan was applied in industrial wastewater treatment, which can complex with the nocuous materials and then be discharged as floccule. The food grade Chitosan we produced is mainly used for the cosmetics, medicine dressing and health care such as strengthening the immunity ability, anti-aging, fit-keeping etc. Industry grade Chitosan is used for wastewater treatment, heavy metal recycling, eliminating radioactive elements, decoloring etc.
