These Mugs are Decal printed using a Ceramic Printer with flower designs applied from copyrighted photographs. Applied as follows:

a) Printed using the laser printer onto plain paper which then has the ceramic toner on the surface forming the image.
b) The printed plain paper is placed with the toner side facing the thin lamination paper coating and feed this through a standard office laminating machine.
c) The plain paper is peeled off which now has the toner printed image embedded on the lamination paper.
d) The cut out image is placed on the lamination paper into hot water for a short period and then remove the laminated paper backing to leave the film of coating to be applied to the surface of the clear glazed ceramic pots. (Originally Biscuit fired to 1000 C, and Glaze fired to 1130 C (Cone 1) )
e) The ceramic pots are then re-fired to 860 C at 130 C /hour and soak at 860 C for 15 minutes which fuses the image into the clear glaze.
