CERAMIC POLISHING SLURRY FEATURES

Ceramics is a hard material, so it is challenging to obtain a smooth surface with traditional mechanical polishing techniques.

Kona series water-based alumina and silica slurry has been designed for polishing different ceramic components, such as Aluminum Nitride (AIN) Ceramic substrates, Alumina Ceramic Seal Ring, Copper-Covered Ceramic Substrate and so on.

Our alumina powders are also available for ceramic polishing, as well as alumina slurry.

We also have a Polishing Slurry based on silica colloidal provides a highly smooth surface for ceramic final polishing.

Ceramic materials, due to its high hardness, strong mechanical stress, high thermal conductivity and high insulation are widely used in precision machinery, biological materials and other aspects, especially widely used in the field of consumer electronics. Common ceramic substrates are alumina ceramic substrate and aluminum nitride ceramic substrate. These two kinds of ceramic substrate hardness is very high, it is difficult to grind and polish. Kona specially developed ceramic polishing slurry based on alumina and silicon oxide abrasive, which is a good solution for ceramic rough and final polishing.
