Glycineethylester hydrochloride (English name: Glycineethylester hydrochloride) is also known as aminoaceticacide ethylester hydrochloride. It is a white crystalline powder at room temperature. Soluble in water, solubility in water > 1000 g/L (20 ºC), slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, easy to absorb moisture in air, slow decomposition when the temperature exceeds 200 ¬C. Low toxicity, lack of toxicity data, its toxicity can refer to glycine, due to the presence of hydrogen chloride in the molecule, contact with skin and eyes should be avoided. It is mainly used as an intermediate in the production of pharmaceuticals and pesticides, and is also used in biochemical research. The molecular formula is C4H10NClO2 and the chemical formula is NH2CH2COOC2H5· HCl.
