Bicalutamide

Bicalutamide tablet is a non-steroid androgen antagonist. It competes with androgen receptor, blocks the uptake of androgen by cells and inhibits the binding of androgen to target organs. After binding with androgen receptor, it forms receptor complex, enters the nucleus and binds to nuclear protein, thus inhibiting the growth of tumor cells. It can be used as a first-line drug for palliative treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Adult: Adult men including the elderly: one tablet (50mg) once a day, treatment should be started at the same time as LHRH analogues or surgical orchiectomy treatment. Children: This product is not permitted for use in children. Kidney damage: Dose adjustment is not necessary for patients with kidney damage. Liver damage: Dose adjustment is not necessary for patients with mild liver damage, and drug accumulation may occur in patients with moderate to severe liver damage
