Properties:
White needle-like crystal powder; bitter in taste. Very soluble in chloroform, ethylacetate, benzene and acetone; freely soluble in methanol, ethanol, dilutedly ethanol, aether and petroleum ether; practically insoluble in water.

Main application:
This product is a highly effective and nearly no side-effects antimalarial drug. It's mainly active on the erythrocytis forms of plasmodium, directly killing the schizont. Compared with chloroquines, it's faster in curing the tertian malaria and malignant average protozoon's turning negetive. It's used for the curative treatment of cerebal malaria, severe malaria and chloroquine-resisant malaria.
