Product Description
Adrenaline is a steroid hormone with weak androgenic effects. It was first isolated from the adrenal cortex by Tadeus Reichstein of the University of Basel Institute for Pharmaceutical Research in 1936. Initially, adrenaline is called Reichstein's substance G. By the action of two enzymes CYP11B (E1.14.15.15) and 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase [EC:1], androstenone is derived from androst-4-ene- 3,17-dione production. 1. 1. 146].
