Tommy Emmanuel is without doubt one of the most breathtaking acoustic guitar players on the planet. The man from down under, has won Guitar Players "Best Acoustic Guitarist" twice and has been an ambassador or AER amps through it all. He's always used one of the straight forward models, no mods or add-on's, just him and the amp.
AER's goal with this signature Compact 60 was simple, design an amp that will be personal to Tommy and will be appreciated by fans of himself and the amp alike. One side is branded with Tommy's initials, alongside "CGP" or "Certified Guitar Player" an honour designated by Chet Atkins, Emmanuel's former mentor.
The other side bears an Aboriginal art carving, a side of his country that Tommy loves and connects with on a personal & musical level. Aside from aesthetics, the amp features Tommy's Alesis Midiverb II effect setting, as well as an all-effect DI-out.
