OVERVIEW



PWS1242H(4) offers 24 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports which can be either 1000Base-T for 10/100/1000Mbps or 1000Base-SX/LX through SFP (Small Factor Pluggable) interfaces.

PWS1242H(4) provides a simple, cost-effective, and highly reliable network connection for data as well as power. The auto-negotiating and auto MDI-MDI/X ports supply 30W maximum per port for driving 24 IEEE 802.3af/at compliant powered devices via Cat.5 and above twisted cables. By integrating the data transmitting cables and power cords, it saves time in constructing your network.

With web remote management, the network administrators can logon PWS1242H(4) to monitor. It is easy to survey and control the PoE power provision to the devices. Basic switching functions such as VLAN, Quality of Service, Bandwidth Control, Storm Control and Security are available for network management.

For energy saving and environmental conservation, the POE management function of PWS1242H(4) can schedule the power per port, so the manager can turn off the powered devices in non-working time and turn it on at the proper time. It is easy for installation & power management and it also saves the installation time and cost.
