For 2010, Fulcrum offers the new Racing Speed, a brand new high profile carbon wheel that derives from its top of the line Racing Speed XLR and inherits its superior performance and reliability.
The Fulcurm Racing Speed wheel carry many of the particular characteristics of the XLR at a more competitive price. The Fulcrum Racing Speed wheels feature oversized aluminium hubs. The hubs have an oversized flange on the right side of the rear wheel to guarantee the highest level of reactivity and minimize energy loss in the transmission of power from the pedal to the wheel. Fulcrum uses its new Spoke Anti-Rotation System by redesigning the spokes and hub housings to create a stable entity so the spokes never lose their tension and keep the wheels in true and aerodynamic.

Using the 2:1 Two-to-One spoking system , the wheels are consistently fast with precise response when you apply a burst of power on the pedals. The aero spokes with variable cross-section increase the aerodynamics of the wheel enabling exceptional performance. Like for the Racing Speed XLR model, Racing Speed wheels require the use of the special pads for carbon fiber developed by Fulcrum.

Rim has a 50 millimeter profile and is supported by 18 radially-laced spokes in the front wheel and 21 in the rear with doubling on the freehub side using Two-to-One technology.
The carbon rims are made using a particular technique by which the carbon fabric is aligned so that the resulting rim is always balanced.
The use of pads for special brakes is necessary.
Fulcrum Racing Speed wheels are supplied with the new Fulcrum quick release.
Compatible with Campagnolo, Shimano or SRAM drivetrains (you select freehub body)
