Cat Cracker Seminar & Exhibition

This seminar provides a forum for refiners to meet and share information on the technological advances and regulatory developments that affect the design, operation, and maintenance of FCC units. The program includes a Q&A session with a panel of experts and a number of workshops organized in three topic tracks. This enables attendees to focus on a particular aspect of FCC operation or to attend workshops that cover a broader range of interests.

The seminar is designed for people who solve the problems associated with the operation and maintenance of FCCUs. The Q&A session and the workshops encourage open discussions which enable attendees to share their own challenges and benefit from other attendees’ experiences. The Tabletop Exhibition, held as part of the seminar, gives attendees the opportunity to meet and talk with representatives from companies offering a variety of goods and services specific to FCCU operations in the refinery.

The AFPM Cat Cracker Seminar is a biannual meeting which focuses on the operations and reliability challenges that are specific to FCC process units.
Although it began as a maintenance meeting, the Seminar has evolved into a comprehensive program that covers FCCU reliability, regulations, equipment technology, refractory, and process technology. The program utilizes discussion-driven workshops and a Q&A forum to share insights into smarter, safer, and more reliable FCCU operation.
The Seminar includes a tabletop exhibition for equipment and service providers that specialize in the needs of FCCUs. You can count on the Cat Cracker Seminar to deliver a well-focused FCCU audience at a reasonable cost.
Exhibitors are given 4.5 hours unopposed show time in the 1.5-day program to meet with attendees. These hours are scheduled during both days’ lunches and a late afternoon reception to encourage traffic flow to the hall. Complimentary food and beverage service is provided in the hall. Exhibitors are encouraged to attend the sessions to share their expertise and experiences.
